Champion!

I (Eric) have played IM Ultimate several times since going to UF without making it to the championship. Finally, a team was formed this summer with two UF club members (the maximum allowed by the IM program) and four experienced Ultimate players out of college eligibility, including me. I played for both the mens and co-ed teams which drew their semi-final and final games on Wednesday night in back to back to back to back games from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. It was an exhausting night, but in the end we won two championships and each player got two of the coveted championship shirts. The team will look to defend its titles in the Fall when the season is a bit longer and a bit more competitive.
