Summer Fun

I am so thankful that we FINALLY got sun here in Oregon!! For awhile I was beginning to believe that it is cloudy here 100% of the time but it turns out, the summers are nice just like everybody said. It doesn't start until July, but when it starts, it's beautiful. We have actually been REALLY hot most days and have had to go to the park and play in the fountain or use the hose and sprinklers. 

The northwest is famous for their delicious berries so we of course had to go berry picking. Titus really liked picking them off the stem but was not interested in eating it. That was the first time we went picking. The next few times we went picking it was all I could do to stop him from eating the berries. Luckily, the place we go advertises that it's All You Can Eat berries while you pick.

These are Tay Berries which is across between raspberries and blackberries. So yummy!

Titus has been obsessed with biting his toes. He thinks it's hilarious. Silly boy :)

Spontaneous backyard water fun

Titus loved this homemade toy until I had to take it away from him because he thinks its a big joke to put the pom poms in his mouth.

The park around the corner from our house has this awesome fountain. Titus has no fear. He just goes for it no matter who is around, big kids, little kids, doesn't matter, he wants to get wet. He drinks the water and loves when it sprays really hard in his face. He is all boy.

Titus used to eat his sandwiches in little chunks but now he decided he would like to eat the whole thing himself. None of this small bite stuff.

We planted a few plants when we moved into our house. This is our first harvest. So exciting! The awesome thing about Oregon is that everything grows really well, it doesn't take much upkeep other than picking the weeds that also grow like crazy.

While we miss the beach and San Diego, Oregon has treated us well this summer.
