On Memorial Day, Dave and Kristen and Jackson headed back to Seattle in the morning but David and Norma stuck around until Tuesday so we decided to do something fun. We went to Ardiri Winery. When we first moved here, we joined this winery's wine club since it was so close to our house (about 15 minutes) and they have many events for wine club members. On Memorial Day, they had wine tasting with a local artist and snacks and a local creamery giving samples of goat cheese. The sun was shining but it was still a little chilly so we enjoyed our wine (water for me) and snacks by the fireplace. One thing we love about this place is the grounds are so beautiful and they have an amazing view of Mt. Hood.
