Camping Trip

We took Titus on his first camping trip a few weeks ago. We decided to stay close to home (in case we needed to abort) in Escondido and only stayed one night. We went with the Passmores and had a great time. This is the view of Escondido from our campsite. The other side of the hill overlooked the lake (we couldn't see this from our actual site). I thought it would be weird camping with a view of the city, but it was actually very pretty at night and in the morning.

We set up camp and then got really hot so we drove down the hill and went swimming in Christine's sister's neighborhood pool. It was really nice to be able to cool off. We took Titus in but he wasn't very happy about it. I don't think he's a fan of the cold water in pools.

Titus just started sitting in the BOB without his car seat which has been really nice. He enjoys it more and it is much lighter for me to push.

T also just started being willing to be put in the ERGO. He still won't put up with it for too long, but it's nice to be able to use it for a little bit. Hopefully as he gets older he will like it more.
Relaxing with dad.

We borrowed a family tent, which was so big it fit our two sleeping bags, Titus' pack 'n' play and it still had lots of extra space. Titus slept so good! He slept through the night for the second time ever! I of course, had the worst nights sleep because I was so worried about him. At one point, he had a crocheted beanie on that had a rim that folds up. I was worried about him being cold, so I went to check on him and he had pulled it over his chin! Good thing there were holes in it and I guess it ended up keeping him warm, but it sure freaked me out!

We had fun camping and look forward to many more trips as our little man grows up.
