The Zavaletas earn the prize for being our Florida friends to visit TWICE in less than a year. I must say they have spoiled us by coming so frequently and we are starting to get used to it and will expect another visit soon! When they arrived, Meric's one request was to visit Stone Brewery again, so we went straight there after we picked them up from the airport. The boys enjoyed the beer and we all enjoyed the delicious food.
When we woke up on Saturday Meric started to teach Steric a little about the guitar. They were cute with their PJ's and messed up hair playing guitar together.
On Saturday it was supposed to rain all day with the exception of a short time in the afternoon, so we took advantage of it. We picked up the Gallaghers in our Pilot (fit everyone in, including a baby in a carseat and a stroller in the back!) and headed to Balboa park where the boys played disc golf and the girls walked around. We stumbled upon a puppet theater that was about to start a show so we took Story to see it. It was super cute and Story was very interested. That evening we had a fun fondue dinner at home with the Z's and the G's.
Sunday we went to church, had mexican food for lunch, rented a 4 person surrey bike in Coronado, had a bonfire at fiesta Island and then had sushi for dinner. Busy, but super fun day! I forgot my camera though :(
