This past weekend we enjoyed our last getaway - our babymoon - before having to worry about childcare. Eric's parents gave us gift certificates to stay at a really nice hotel in Shelter Island in San Diego. We opted to them now instead of waiting for our anniversary. The hotel was beautiful and tropical feeling, which was also nice because the Armstrong family was in Hawaii this past week and we missed that trip due to the pregnancy. We had a great suite that had a living room and full kitchen overlooking the garden. The one bummer was that we had some bad weather this weekend in San Diego. It made for a more lazy relaxing weekend which wasn't too bad.
We spent the weekend eating of course, discovering some little treasures in the Point Loma area. One night we ate in the hotel restaurant which was really good.
We came home and had some delicious desserts that we bought earlier in the day at this great Cuban bakery we found. They have amazing deserts and pastries and we will definitely be going there again in the future.
We had a great, relaxing weekend. Now we are ready for the baby to come :) (after Wicked).

You look absolutely precious!! You are in the home stretch!! We are keeping you in our prayers and can't wait to hear the sweet news that your little guy is in your arms!! We have a gift to send but want to wait until he arrives so it can be personalized!! Will you send me your address when you get a chance so we will have it?
