Cooking School

Elizabeth and I have been very busy cooking. We made pork dumplings which were really yummy, but the pork was very pink even after it boiled for a long time. It made us a little nervous but we were so hungry that we ate them anyway. We joked for about a week that we were going to die of trichinosis. Turns out we're all okay.


The next night we were planning on making Elizabeth's mom's recipe for lasagna. It is a really delicious recipe with sweet sauce and provolone cheese. We started making it and decided we wanted to make some other things too, so we also made homemade marshmallows and cinnamon rolls.




The cinnamon rolls tasted almost exatly like Cinnabon- it was a copy cat recipe.
The marshmallows were good too- the boys said they were the best marshmallows they ever had. That's a big compliment coming from Eric since he LOVES them. We made s'mores with them the next night.
