There's a first time for everything...

So Eric has never made dinner since we've been married, with the exception of once on my birthday, and a maybe a few evenings where I was away and he had to heat something up for himself. I don't really mind because I enjoy cooking and he works much later than I do.
We only get a few channels on our TV, but when we were in Boston we had cable for a week. I love watching the Food Network and Eric started to enjoy it too and got the desire to cook. He decided that if he was going to cook he wanted to go all out and try fancy stuff. Last night he decided to cook dinner, so he kicked me out of the kitchen. He of course made two of his favorite things- Coconut Shrimp and Creme Brulee. He did a great job- we had a yummy dinner and dessert!!

okay, you might want to pay for cable just so that you can keep Eric on this cooking kick! That meal looks AMAZING. Way to go, Eric!

I definately remember BBQing dinner with Eric when I was out in Florida. Why doesn't that count?

Well that is true. Eric is always willing to BBQ and always does a great job, but I usually prepare the food to BBQ and make other food to go with it...he has never cooked an entire meal and certainly not on the stove. :)

Wow! That looks delish! Eric, you can come and cook for us anytime (and I guess you can bring Stacey along too). :)
