Boston: Day 7

We rented a car and headed to the Cape! On our way, we stopped at Plymouth to see Plymouth Rock, Mayflower II, and Plimouth Plantation.

We weren't able to see the actual rock because they were working on the structure that houses it. It is on the beach below the construction.

This is a picture of what the rock would have looked like if we were able to see it.

The Cape was BEAUTIFUL and we couldn’t have picked a better day to go! Kristen and Dave (Eric’s sister and her husband) happened to be going to Cape Cod for a reunion with Dave’s family for the weekend. Since they were all in town we were able to join their whole family for most of the day. We went swimming in a freshwater pond (more like a lake) and enjoyed relaxing at the house overlooking the beautiful water! It was a relaxing and fun last day of vacation.

Day 8: We had to say goodbye to beautiful Boston and Eric had to say goodbye to Dunkin’ Donuts on every corner. We had a great vacation!!

I LOVE the picture of Eric and the coffee. We can now get Duncan Donuts coffee at Safeway and Costco. Isn't that funny? I always heard about how it's SOOOO good, and now we could find out if we wanted to!
