We had a great, long weekend. My parents had a timeshare in Hilton Head Island, South
Carolina. They arrived last Saturday and we went to join them starting on Wednesday night. We took a couple days off work so we could spend some extra time there. The time share was beautiful and a quick walk away from the beach.

We enjoyed relaxing, shopping and spending time together. We rented bikes and rode around the island. Eric and I got a tandem bike which was fun. It was my first time riding a tandem and first time riding a bike on the beach....so fun! Eric was a much better driver than I was on the tandem.

Eric and my dad played golf one morning. They saw a gator just hanging out while they were golfing!

We played miniature golf one day :)

We went to a nice dinner one night. This is the view from the 3rd story of the small restaurant, overlooking Skull Creek.

On Saturday, we drove up to Charleston, South Carolina. We spent the day walking around, shopping and we took a carriage tour of the old city.

This road was overlooking the water. The houses were huge and beautiful!

I have no idea what this HUGE flip flop is for, but I love it :)

The movie,
The Notebook was filmed in Charleston. This movie theater is from the scene where they are walking in the street together.

We ate at the Cracker Barrel for breakfast on our last day. If you've never been to the South and eaten at a Cracker Barrel, it's a chain with southern food. In the front of every restaurant they have a huge porch with a bunch of rocking chairs for you to enjoy.

My parents drove back to the airport, but on our way home we stopped in Savannah, Georgia so Eric could go to his favorite candy shop and we could eat lunch. It was a beautiful day, which was nice because when we were there a couple weeks ago it wasn't the best weather. We had a nice, quick stop on our way home with lunch and LOTS of candy to take home with us.

okay, first, your hair is SO long. Second, I LOVE the big flip flop as well. It would probably be a good bed for our new baby! Also, I feel like riding a tandem bike is hard enough let alone trying to do it on sand. Oh, and I wish I could enjoy the candy with you:)
oooh, our old home!!! :-) isn't Charleston awesome! and I'm totally addicted to the east coast beaches now! You're getting closer to us, within 6 hours this time (hee, hee!) Wish we could have joined you, but glad you had so much fun!!
i forgot you had a blog. i just read this latest entry and thought, "sarah webber is going to make a comment about the huge flip flop." then i thought, "stacey's hair is SO long". Sarah and i are the same person.
