Draft Day!

This is just a small glimpse into our lives March- October. Yesterday, March 16th was Draft Day for fantasy baseball. You may think that's no big deal...that's what I thought too. Eric has been anticipating this day for months, he has even spent hours reading and studying in preparation for this day. Below is a picture of some of the stats that he studied weeks before this draft. If you've ever seen the movie Fever Pitch, you can understand a little of Eric's love for the game. Fantasy brings a love for Baseball to a whole new level.

So this year, I was recruited to help with Draft Day. Jeff's (Eric's friend) grandmother passed away so he was not able to draft his own team. Enter: Stacey. We had 2 computers, one with 2 screens set up along with pens, highlighters, draft sheets, stats and very specific instructions.
The draft took a little over an hour and was a little stressful at times since you only have a minute and a half to make your pick and you may have to change it last minute if someone has picked your choices!

Jeff and Eric both ended up with good teams. We'll see how this season goes!

Wow! Intense! Way to "step up to the plate", Stace! Is there money involved this year?
