February was a busy month for us. Eric got baptized at church. Eric's parents came to visit us for a few days and Eric passed his oral qualifying exam which puts him one step closer to becoming a PhD candidate. If nothing else, it proved to Eric's parents and I how smart he really is. The following is the title of his proposal and presentation:
"Elucidating the oxygen-reduction mechanisms of La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-delta cathodes for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) using in-situ electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and current-voltage techniques."
Of course, we don't even understand that!
