Six Months

Two teeth!

I love this picture because it shows what this kid is constantly doing- trying to get something...anything.

New things for Titus:

• He learned that he can cough and will do it on purpose to hear the noise or get attention or maybe he likes the feel- I don't know. Sometimes it's cute since he smiles while he does it. Sometimes it's frustrating.
• He can roll from his tummy to his back pretty well but still can't figure out how to get his arm out from under him when he rolls from his back to tummy.
  
• He loves to be outside and watch the leaves blow in the wind.
• He loves having wind blown in his face with a towel.
  
• He reaches for toys.
• He sits up with very little help.
• He loves the ERGO carrier.
• He sleeps 11-12 hours a night with one random 14 hour marathon sleep- never woke up from his 4:30pm nap.
• We can usually get a good 5-10 minutes of giggles and leg kicks if we turn his mobile on after his nap. He loves that thing!
• He likes to squish his face into things like your shoulder or chest when he is trying to fall asleep or onto the side of the crib.
  
• He likes to suck on the tags of stuffed animals and other toys.
  
• He is on a pretty good schedule, up by 6:30 am, eats 5x a day plus 2x of solid food, four short naps a day (this is the annoying part- hoping he will switch to less longer naps soon!), and asleep by 7pm. He also has learned to soothe himself to sleep for the night and for his morning nap- still working on the other naps.
  
• He never met a food he didn't like until we tried avocados. Not a fan of those. We're going to need to work on that. Who doesn't like avocados??
• He makes a "mmmm" sound with every bite.
• He is eating rice cereal, oatmeal cereal, sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, peas, spinach, apples, bananas, pears, pumpkin, and the occasional prune juice (I'm sure you can guess why that is necessary).
• He has two teeth.
  
• He giggles and smiles at almost anything.
  
• He is so fun!
