It's official....

Today was a sad day for me. It looks like we are officially Floridians (at least for the time being). My California licence plate expired, so we had to switch it to a Florida one. Hopefully we will get to switch back soon! My car is going to miss it's California Plates!!

We have been busy lately! We went to our annual church picnic which was at a Christian camp that had a lake and Eric went water skiing for the first time! I have been before and I wasn't able to get up which was disappointing, but Eric did well! This is Eric and two guys from our bible Study, Stephen who is a High school chemistry Teacher and Rick who just finished Law school at UF and is moving back to Southern California.

We also went to something called Jai Alai (Hi- Lie). It is this strange sport can originated in a small province in Spain. It is only played in Florida and one location in Rhode Island and it also was played for a short time in Reno and Las Vegas but I believe it was banned. Anyway, it is played on this court, sometimes teams, sometimes singles. And the men throw this ball as hard as they can towards the wall and it bounces and the other has to catch it and throw it. They use these like horns that are stuck to their arms to catch and to throw. Lots of spectators go to watch and you actually bet on the players, like you would a horse race. It's strange, but it was a fun experience.

We also went canoeing down the Swanee River a couple weekends ago with some friends of Eric's from school.
