Since we didn't get to spend Easter with our family, we had the Heinen's over for dinner. We also dyed Easter Eggs which was fun.

Last weekend, spur of the moment, we decided to go see something in Florida that we had never seen before. So we drove to an island off the west coast, about an hour away...Cedar Key. We just walked around the cute town and had lunch on the pier.

This is me sticking my toes in the gulf coast! :)
Last night we went to the Bat House on campus. It is home to over 60,000 bats. In the springtime, they are more active, and right at dusk you are able to see them all leave and go find their food for the evening. It was AMAZING. I've never seen so many flying creatures in one place before and it's crazy to think that so many of them live in that small little house. The pictures just give a glimpse of how many there were. It was a constant flow for about 5 minutes. It was neat to see.
